Friday, January 20, 2017, with Judge Daniel R. King presiding: Sentencing: Phillip B. Damuth, 42, of Glenfield, received an indeterminate sentence of 1 1/2 to 3 years in State Prison on a charge of third-degree Attempted Criminal Possession of Stolen Property, to which he pleaded guilty on December 2. He was additionally ordered to pay $118.80 in restitution and $375 in court fees. Mr. Damuth was arrested on August 31st after deputies discovered a 2010 Ski- Doo XRS 800 snowmobile that was reported stolen in January of 2016, while investigating an unrelated matter. PLEAS: Patrick R. Delles, 29, of Glenfield, entered GUILTY pleas to charges of fourth- degree Criminal Possession of Marijuana and fourth-degree Criminal Possession of a Weapon, both class "A" misdemeanors. He was remanded, without bail, with sentencing scheduled for March 3. Mr. Delles was arrested in October on the charges. Julie Green, 49, Watertown, entered a GUILTY plea to a charge of third- degree Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance, a class "B" felony, satisfying all charges she was facing. Sentencing was set for March 31. Ms. Green was accused of selling Oxycodone, in the Village of Lowville, during December of 2015, and was one of 16 people arrested during the Operation Northern Watch drug roundup in September. Kenneth J. Juby, 21, Glenfield, entered a plea of GUILTY on a charge of third- degree Rape and pleaded guilty. Sentencing was scheduled for March 3. He is accused of having sexual intercourse with a girl under the age of 17 on Sept. 1 in the Village of Lowville. Joshua D. Ortlieb, 23, Beaver Falls, entered a GUILTY plea on a charge of third-degree Rape, satisfying all charges against him. Sentencing was set for February 17. He was arrested in October after being accused of having sexual relations with a person under the age of seventeen, during May, in the Village of Lowville. Luke M. Racine, 30, Glenfield, pleaded GUILTY to a charge of second-degree Criminal Possession of a Weapon, and admitted to a probation violation. Sentencing was set for March 3. He was arrested in August on multiple weapons and drug charges. |
