    Lowville, NY- Shelby Poore-McIntosh, 23, has been charged in the July death
    of her three-year-old daughter, Kyralea Poore. Ms. Poore-McIntosh was jailed
    on $20,000 cah bail or $40,000 bond after arraignment yesterday morning in
    Village of Lowville Court, on a charge of second-degree manslaughter. No
    further details are available.

    Lewis County Sheriff's deputies arrested Derrick W. McDermid on July 14th, in
    connection to the investigation into the three-year-old's death earlier that week.
    At the time they stated that the case was under further investigation, with
    additional charges possible.

    We reached out to Lewis County Undersheriff Jim Monnat and District Attorney
    Leanne Moser yesterday afternoon for more information on the arrest and other
    details on the case. Both declined any comment, stating that information would
    be released on Friday.
