    Lowville- Lewis County District Attorney Leanne Moser held a press
    conference this morning at the Lewis County Courthouse, along with members
    from the Lewis County Sheriff's Office and the New York State Police, laying
    out the charges filed against Shelby Poore- Mcintosh, 23, and Derrick
    McDermid, 21, in connection to the death of three-year-old Kyralea Poore on
    July 12th.

    Indictments were handed down for Mr. McDermid on counts of second-degree
    Murder, first-degree Manslaughter, first-degree Assault, Endangering the
    Welfare of a Child, and two counts of second-degree Assault,  His bail was set
    at $150,000 cash or $250,000 bond. Ms. Poore-McIntosh is facing charges of
    second-degree Manslaughter, Criminally Negligent Homicide, and Endangering
    the Welfare of a Child. Her bail was set at $50,000 cash or $100,000 bond.

    A tentative trial date for Mr. McDermid was set for February 6th by Judge
    Daniel King.
