Lewis County-  The New York State Department of Transportation has issued
the following traffic advisory beginning on Wednesday:

Please be advised that on or about Wednesday, September 23, NYSDOT will
begin milling and paving operations on State Route 12, between the intersection
of State Routes 12 and 177 and the Harrisburg/Denmark Town Line in Lewis
    County.

Work is expected to take approximately five weeks to complete with traffic
controlled by flaggers and a pilot vehicle. Motorists may encounter minor delays.
Please drive carefully through every highway and bridge construction zone
    encountered.

The project is part of the $75 million in accelerated paving projects approved by
Governor Cuomo in June, to help repair widespread damage across the state
from deep frost over this past winter.
