Lewis County: It's the first full weekend of summer,and we have compiled a list of some things around the county that you can do this weekend. As we all know, once summer officially arrives it has a tendency to go by quickly, so get out there and enjoy some of the activities the county has to offer! The weather may not be fully co-operative for outdoor activities, but all day Friday and Saturday morning are looking favorable. Rain is expected to move in by Saturday afternoon and all day on Sunday. Hope everyone has an enjoyable weekend!

Adirondack Central School- Saturday, June 27 at 10 AM Copenhagen Central School- Sunday, June 28 at 2 PM
Saturday,June 27 & Sunday, June 28- Anyone can fish any of the lakes, ponds, streams and rivers in New York State without a license during this two day period. Although you don't need a license, all DEC regulations regarding fishing still apply. Visit the DEC Website for information on all rules and regulations.
Friday, June 26- 6615 Buneo Road in Port Leyden. 4 PM - 6:30 PM. All proceeds benefit the Arts Community of Lewis County to help raise funds for fees to obtain a non-profit status. BBQ by Tubby's BBQ, $10 for dinner or $8 for half. Eat in or take out available. There will be a dance following at 7 PM with the Fulton Chain Gang. $5 cover charge and must be 21. Cash bar will be open.
Friday, June 26- American Legion Post 1663 in Croghan, 4 PM until sold out. Cost is $10, benefits Girl Scout Troop 50494
Saturday, June 27- From 8 AM - 2 PM in the Forest Park Pavilion at the Lewis County Fairgrounds.
Saturday June 27- Adirondack International Speedway on Artz Road. Kids Fun Run is free for children 10 and under at 9:30 AM, registration form needed. 5K Run/Walk at 10 AM. $25 registration fee. Register online here. All proceeds benefit American Cancer Society.
Sunday, June 28- From 12 PM- 5PM. Starts at the Lowville Free Library on Dayan Street. Six private gardens, own-pace tour. Map included with ticket. Tickets cost $10.
Sunday, June 28- Croghan Mennonite Church, 7048 Kirschnerville Road from 7 PM- 9 PM. Open to all children age 3 1/2 through grade 10.
Friday- Good Golly at Trailside Restaurant & Bar, Brantingham 8 PM - 12 AM, $5 Cover Charge
7 PM- 10 PM, $5 Cover Charge, Food will be available
