| Constableville Volunteer Firemen's Field Days: July 31 - August 2 07/23/15 11:30am |
Constableville- The annual Constableville Volunteer Firemen's Field Days will be taking place from Friday, July 31st through Sunday August 2nd this year. The event offers a variety of activities throughout the weekend for the entire community to enjoy. There will be food, fun and games along with a schedule of activities. Everything gets started Friday evening with the 17th Annual Gordy Uhl Softball Tournament beginning at 6 PM. Live music by The Nelson Brothers Band will start at 7 PM and running through 11 PM. On Saturday, activities resume with day two of the softball tournament at 8 AM. Also at 8 AM registration for Waterball take place, with adult and junior Waterball starting at 9 AM. A Treasure Hunt and other games free to all children will begin at 1 PM. This is sponsored by the Constableville Fire Youth Fund Drive. Saturday night offers a full schedule of activities, beginning with the parade at 7 PM. Immediately following the parade, Ashley Roberts will be singing at the flag raising, followed by a concert featuring the C-Villairs. The Grease Pole Climb is scheduled for 9 PM, with music by Redneck Trainwreck from 9:30 PM until 1:30 AM. On Sunday the softball tournament continues, starting at 8 AM. Registration for the Garden Tractor Pull begins at 10:30 AM and ends at noon, when the event is scheduled to start. Also at noon will be the Great Home Cooked Ham Dinner. Things wrap up at 5 PM with the 225 Club raffle and drawings. All guests are reminded, no coolers please. |
