Lowville/Harrisville- With the calendar showing August,the focus of many area high school athletes will begin to turn from summer vacation to the upcoming fall sports season. Practices are set to begin later this month at area schools. At Lowville Academy & Central School, all Varsity and Junior Varsity sports practices will begin on Monday, August 17th. Modified Football will begin practice on August 31st, with all other Modified sports starting practice on Wednesday, September 2nd. At the Harrisville Central School District, Varsity soccer practices begin on Monday August 17th. Modified soccer practices will begin on Monday, August 24th. If the school nurse notified you that your child's sports physical was outdated for the fall sports season, physicals will be done at Harrisville Central School on August 11 and August 12 from 8 AM -12 PM. Please call ahead to schedule an appointment. This does not include mandated grade level physicals. |
