Town of Greig- The Lewis County Sheriff's Department investigated a personal injury ATV accident Saturday evening in the Town of Greig. Deputies report that a 2004 Polaris 500cc was being operated by a sixteen year-old female on private property just north of Abbey Road. While driving on the property deputies say the operator failed to negotiate a curve, exited the trail and struck a tree with the right front tire of the ATV, causing her to be ejected.
Elizabeth's Hospital in Utica for treatment of a leg laceration. No tickets were issued. The New York State Police assisted deputies at the scene. |
