| Two Men Facing Charges After Traffic Stop in Village of Lowville 07/22/15 07:44am |
Lowville- The Lewis County Sheriff's Department arrested two men after a traffic stop in the Village of Lowville last night. Derick Damuth, 21, of Lyons Falls, was charged with second degree Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle, a class "A" misdemeanor, and Unsafe Tires. A passenger in the vehicle, Dylan Babcock,19, of Lowville, was charged with seventh degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance,a class "A" misdemeanor, after a search by K-9 Wyman allegedly turned up methamphetamine. Both men will reappear in the Village of Lowville Court to answer the charges at a later date. Turck's Towing assisted deputies at the scene. |
