Whitesboro Man Charged With Aggravated DWI in Town of Turin

    Town of Turin- A Whitesboro man is facing a number of charges after a traffic
    stop by the New York State Police on the Carpenter Road in the Town of Turin.

    Michael E. Martin, 26, was charged with second degree Aggravated Unlicensed
    Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Aggravated DWI and Circumventing an Interlock
    Device. He was released to a third party and will face the charges in the Town of
    Turin court at a later date. No other details were provided.

    Under state law,  a BAC of 0.08 percent or higher is considered proof of
    intoxication. Aggravated DWI is charged when the BAC is 0.18 percent or higher.
